Job description

Bayer A/S is looking for a Biological Dossier Writer for the Nordic Crop Science team - a unique opportunity to join a global Life Science company in a maternity leave position.

As Biological Dossier Writer you will be part of the Biological Dossier Writer team on a European level, addressing both Nordic and European projects. The position is office-based in the Nordic Bayer Copenhagen office. The role of a Biological Dossier Writer is to manage trial data compilation for plant protection products and to prepare biological dossiers for new product registrations, as well as for existing products already on the market for re-registration. The role will also contribute to the preparation of documents regarding authority questions related with biological dossiers and product evaluations.


  • Analyse and synthesize data extracted from the Bayer trial database, SCOUT, for the preparation of European Biological Dossiers (BAD)
  • Evaluate field trial results for product registration including reliable statistical analysis as a basis for decision and compilation of BADs.
  • Prepare and write elements of the BAD for submissions in Europe according to EPPO guidelines and recommendations, using data extracted out of SCOUT.
  • Prepare national addenda for national requirements


  • University degree in agriculture, horticulture or biological sciences
  • Preferably been working with field trials, biological data analysis and Biological Dossiers 
  • Good understanding of North European agriculture
  • Ability and willingness to work in cross functional and cross-national teams
  • Good networking and communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and one of the Nordic languages
  • Good IT skills, especially ARM/SCOUT, Word and Excel
